Corporate events are often opened by one of the key personnel of the day calling the room to order and then proceeding straight into his or her address. How much better would it be to have an independent M/C prepare the room for the speakers and creating maximum impact.
As your Master of Ceremonies I will
• take ownership of the running order thereby removing that stress from the hosts and organisers
• communicate clearly with everyone so that the hosts, speakers, guests and event staff always know what is happening
• welcome guests and introduce speakers
• work closely with the events team, catering staff and photographers to ensure smooth running throughout the event
• dress appropriately - scarlet or burgundy tailcoat, DJ and bow tie, business suit or even a themed costume
• be either formal in approach or bring a lighter touch
